More Than a Decade of Trust: The Story of Babysitters' Club

Looking back on more than ten years of Babysitters' Club, what stands out most isn't just how much we've grown — but how we've grown.

Over the years, we've worked with over a thousand families and hundreds of babysitters and nannies, building something that goes far beyond a service. What began as a small, carefully run operation has become a strong, supportive community — one built on trust, consistency and genuine care for the people involved.

From the very beginning, we've believed that this work is about people first and understanding that behind every booking, there's a family placing their trust in us — and a babysitter stepping into someone else's home.

That responsibility has shaped everything we do.

A Community Built on Experience and Understanding

Babysitters' Club was founded by people who truly understand both sides of this work — because we've lived it.

Before running an agency, we were babysitters, nannies and teachers ourselves. We know what it feels like to walk into a new home, to adapt to different family dynamics, and to carry the responsibility of caring for someone else's child. At the same time, we understand the parent's perspective — the questions, the hesitation, and the need to feel reassured.

We believe this dual understanding is essential. You can't truly work with people unless you understand their reality — and that belief continues to guide how we work with both families and sitters today.

Over the years, we've been privileged to work with an incredibly diverse group of babysitters and nannies — students, professionals, parents, caregivers changing careers, and people at many different stages of life.

Throughout the years, families have come to Babysitters' Club in many ways — and that's something we deeply cherish.

We were fortunate to begin our journey within international school communities, where we connected with families who became our very first clients. From there, our network grew organically — through friendships, neighborhoods, schools and playgrounds.

Word of mouth has always been at the heart of our growth. We love hearing that one family recommended us to another — but there's an even greater compliment we hear surprisingly often:
